Next stop was at Carrowmore, County Sligo, where there is an archaeology site that has uncovered a megalithic cemetery. Carrowmore is one of the four major passage-tomb complexes in Ireland. Here you can see an outer and inner circle of stones with a broken dolmen in the centre. This is the largest cemetery of megalithic tombs and one of the oldest in Ireland.
